Make chili. I made chili tonight from scratch, which included cutting up several peppers and all. I made dinner, washed my hands several times, and then we ate. After dinner, we were all sitting on the sofa having movie night, and Erin was sitting on my lap. She is teething so I gave her my fingers to chew on. Big Mistake. The oils from the peppers had not washed off all the way, and her poor little mouth was all spiced up! Other than milk, she has only had juice and grapes at this point, so the poor baby had no clue what was going on. She looked at me with her face all scrunched up, and with red eyes and tears rolling down her face. I felt like the worst mommy in the world!!!!
Here is today's template:
This and all the others will be up until it reaches the 100 mark.
See you tomorrow!!!

Oh, that's awful! I made the same mistake one time, only I paid for it when I took out my contacts. Ouch! Rubber gloves from now on when dealing with hot peppers! Thank you for the template.
Poor little Erin I know she had to feel bad. Hope she is all better now. Thanks so much for todays template.

Thank You very much for the great template!
Lol!
For years I am sure I had the words "feeling guilty" on my forehead. Lots of little mistakes happen when you are trying your best and exhausted most of the time.
Now my kids are 17, 18 and 19 and they have more then made up for my errors with little mistakes of their own that has me shaking my head and saying what the heck was he thinking! Lol!
Love it! Can't wait to use it!
I wouldn't seat it too much about! On Mother's day my family and I went out to eat. My daughter was eating off my plate she was about 13 months or so and I was just starting to introduce table food. I gave her some guacamole without tasting it and I gave her a spoonful! Poor baby it was spicy even for me! But she got over pretty quickly faster that I did!! I felt so terrible. Since then she won't touch avocados!
Thank you for the template!
Thank you for the great template! Your work rocks!
Oh no!! Poor kid! I have that happen from time to time when I forget and rub my eye while I'm chopping hot peppers. I've found that washing with Dawn and then rinsing a couple of times with a good amount of plain cheap beer dissolves the pepper oils. It has to be beer, though. Rubbing alcohol has oils in it and doesn't work nearly as well as cheap old beer. I hope you're both feeling better.
Oh no, not the kind of feeling a sleep deprived mommy needs!
Thanks, as always!
What a lesson learned. And I bet Erin won't make the same mistake as she will hear and remember this story. Thank goodness children are so resilent. By the way, thank you for the template. I'm off to use it now.
thank you for the templates.. :)

Thanks so much for the nice templates. I hope your sweet baby gets some good rest and recovers from the peppers.
Thank you!!!
Thank you for sharing these wonderful 2 pagers! They are great!!
I don't know if you have tried them, but go buy some Hyland's Teething tablets. You can find them at Walmart in the baby area or the pharmacy area. I think they're a livesaver and really do help.
Hugs,
Jennifer
